Windrow Clearing Terms and Conditions
Scope of Service
Windrow clearing service is limited to clearing vehicle access in front of the residence only. Service includes clearing the agreed number of vehicle-width access points across the front of the property, typically approximately 8 m (26 ft) per access, unless otherwise specified in writing. This service does not include full roadway snow removal, sidewalk clearing, or snow hauling.
Placement of Snow
On non-salted interior residential streets, snow may be placed along the lawn edge or redistributed within the existing windrow. On salted or main routes, snow cannot be placed on lawns and must be redistributed within the existing windrow or snow storage area, which may require additional time and equipment handling.
City Roadways and Responsibility
Residential roadways are managed by the City of Edmonton. This service is a private access-clearing service only and does not constitute City-contracted work or roadway snow removal. By booking this service, the customer acknowledges responsibility for authorizing work adjacent to their property and accepts responsibility for any impacts related to privately contracted work near City-managed infrastructure.
Scheduling and Access
Service timing is dependent on weather conditions, access, equipment availability, and City operations. Customers are responsible for ensuring vehicles, people, pets, and personal property are clear of the service area at the scheduled time. Inaccessible, obstructed, or unsafe conditions may result in delayed or cancelled service.

Surface Conditions and Property Impact
Snow removal equipment operates on frozen, uneven, or concealed surfaces. While reasonable care is taken, incidental cosmetic damage to lawns, boulevards, driveways, or hard surfaces may occur. The contractor is not responsible for damage caused by hidden obstacles, voids, debris, or unmarked underground features.
Weather and Operational Delays
Service timelines are estimates only. Delays may occur due to weather, changing snow conditions, equipment issues, or circumstances beyond the contractor’s control. Such delays do not constitute a breach of service.
Payment and Confirmation
Payment is required to confirm and schedule service. Booking requests are held pending payment and are scheduled once payment is received. Availability is limited.
Refund Policy
In the unlikely event that service cannot be provided for any reason, a full refund will be issued.
Photos and Records
The contractor may collect photos or video of the work performed for documentation, quality control, or marketing purposes.
